"Family break at the Miramare"

Just got back from 11 days at this hotel and wanted to share our experience.

All in all it was a very good trip. The hotel is relatively small (about 30 rooms over 4 storeys). We booked half board.

Our room was 210, which was a family room. There was a second bedroom leading on from the main room for the kids. The kids room had a sofa bed that converted into bunk beds. No balsony. Air con, speak to reception about getting it unrestriced. We did, if you dont it turns off at midnight which was not too good as it was very hot whilst we were there. In general the rooms were a little dated but clean and reasonably sized. En suite shower room, no bath.

The hotel has a number of cycles available for guests to use at no cost and if you ask at reception they will give you free tickets to the water slide park which is close by.

Beautiful pool. Lovely and clean with a lifeguard present and enough beds and shades around the poolside. Small snack kiosk for drinks, crisps and ice cream.

It seems that they also have an agreement with one of the beach clubs where you are alocated beds and an umbrella. This was also nice as it gave an alternative to the pool.

We generally ate dinner at the hotel. Resonable choice of options and portions were generous. 4 courses every day. Food was pretty good standard but after seeing the food brought out for 'paying diners'rather than inclusive diners it does seem they have a slightly better menu available.

All staff friendly especially Emanuel who I think is one of the duty managers. Not too much English spoken by the rest of the staff however (please note this is not a complaint, just information).

This hotel is pretty well located too. Right next to the canal and about 200 yds from the beach. Not too far from the old town either.

"Warm Welcome"

The absolute selling point here besides the spectacular position on the main canal and beachfront, is the staff (owners included). Professional, available, friendly, and mutli-lingual. Cesenatico is a family-friendly town on the Adriatic Sea and it offers fun and fitness activities year round. The Miramare supports this spirit and amenities include entry to an exclusive beach complex, a pool boasting sunshine all day, bikes to ride around on, and a restaurant called Capo del Molo which received raves on Trip Advisor, including from yours truly. The 70s spirit is present in furnishings and decor, which represent a minor drawback in this otherwise excellent vacation and wedding location.
